Muzeu Historik

Ideja për ngritjen e Muzeut Historik, daton në vitin 1982. ”Në dokumente, thuhej ndër të tjera se, vendi ku do të ndërtohej muzeu duhet të ishte pranë qendrës dhe buzë rrugës. Muzeu duhet të kishte një arkitekturë bashkëkohore dhe të veçantë nga ndërtesat e tjera të qytetit, duhet të pasqyronte historinë e qytetit të Lushnjë nga lashtësia e deri në vitet ’80, të kishte edhe një hapësirë të veçantë kushtuar Luftës Antifashiste Nacional Çlirimtare. Gjithashtu duhet të kishte kënd të veçantë kushtuar Arkeologjisë, Reformës Agrare, Arsimit dhe Luftës ndaj Analfabetizmit, Shëndetësisë, Etnografisë, etj.  Muzeu duhet të kishte nivel të lartë shkencorë sepse ndërtohej pas Muzeut Kombëtar në Tiranë dhe disa muzeve të tjerë të vendit”. Zyrtarisht Muzeu u përurua më 21 Nëntor 1990.

The idea for establishing the Historical Museum dates back to 1982. According to official documents of the time, it was stated, among other things, that the museum should be built near the city center and along the main road. The museum was intended to have a contemporary architectural style, distinct from other buildings in the city. It was designed to reflect the history of the city of Lushnjë from antiquity up to the 1980s, and to include a special section dedicated to the National Liberation Anti-Fascist War. It was also planned to feature dedicated sections on Archaeology, Agrarian Reform, Education and the Fight against Illiteracy, Healthcare, Ethnography, and more. The museum was meant to have a high scientific standard, as it was being built after the National Museum in Tirana and several other museums across the country. Officially, the Museum was inaugurated on November 21, 1990.
